Whitespotted Puffer Fish

The Whitespotted Puffer prefers sandy bottoms and rubble areas. I found this one on the wreck of a Japanese ship. They are solitary and slow moving. They feed on a wide range of marine organisms, ie, algae, mollusks, sponges, corals, crabs, sea urchins, starfish, and more.
